St. Scholastica provides intellectual and moral preparation for responsible living and meaningful work

  • Saints Leadership Program

The purpose of your education is to prepare you to serve the communities in which you find yourself through your life. Service to the community can be done in many ways. We want to prepare you to make a lasting difference in the lives of others, so we offer opportunities for you to develop and grow your skills in four different arenas, each connected to the others:

    • Individual or Internal
    • Relationship or Interpersonal
    • Community
    • Societal or Systemic Change

We ask that you do one (or more) of these programs to develop your skills to serve the world.

  • Club Leadership Summit

Any student is welcome to join, but it is mandatory for at least one member of each club to be at the training. Breakfast and lunch will be provided - but you have to register on SaintsLife for the event.

At this training we will talk about how to manage a club, plan and execute events, 56 nights expectations, using pcards, basic finances, the club handbook, and using group pages in SaintsLife. There will be a number of breakout sessions with a good amount of work time - so if you are able to join with multiple members at your club, this will be a great space to learn, brainstorm, and set some plans for your club next semester.

  • 56 Nights

56 Nights program ensures there are fun, engaging, on-campus activities for students to participate in each weekend.

56 Nights are events that occur from 7:30pm to 11:00pm most Friday and Saturday nights of the school year. Each night an event is hosted on campus (Student Union, Storms Den, IC, on-campus outside, or the BWC - with special permission). Each club will do one event per year and will get $125 towards this event outside of their otherwise budgeted SGA allocation. Club are encouraged to collaborate with other clubs. Each club must sign up with the Student Activities Office at the start of the year.

Events need to be planned to engage a wide group of students to participate in each weekend.

    Ideas include:

    • Trivia Night
    • Speed Meeting
    • Bonfire and Cornhole Tournament
    • Game Tournament
    • Puzzle Competition
    • Spades, Hearts, or Chess Tournament
    • Ballroom Dance Lessons
    • Salad Bowel Smackdown
