Becoming an Approved Driver for CSS

Hi [FIRST_NAME],

First of all, welcome to the Backcountry Saints.  I'm excited that you are interested in being part of our team.  I'm going to jump right in and give you your first training/task.

One of the first steps to helping with Outdoor Pursuit events is to become an approved driver for the college.  This process is pretty simple.

1. Go to the College Vehicle Usage policy on my.css, you can also log into my.css and search: College Vehicle Usage
2. Read the CSS Authorized Diver section, then click on the Driver Verification Form
3. Complete the Driver Verification Form and submit it.
4. Watch your email!  Within 1-2 business days, you will receive an email from LeasePlan, which is a company CSS works with to obtain driver records. You must click on the link in this email to authorize CSS to verify your driving history.
5. Again keep watching your email... when you get an email stating that you have been approved as a driver, forward the email to me. solesewski@css.edu

That's it, then you can drive CSS minivans.  In the semi near future, I will start the prcess to get you approved to drive 15 passenger vans (but this needs to be happen first).  As soon as you get this done and become approved, you will be able to help us with OP events.  We actually have some events that may need extra drivers!!
