Details

Linda Wallenberg (known by her students as “Wally”) began teaching after graduating
from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1975 after studying at Uppsala University in
Sweden. She earned a degree in English and Scandinavian Studies, becoming the first
certified Swedish teacher in Minnesota. She taught eighth grade English at Faribault
Junior High for a year and a half before coming to Eden Prairie High School in 1977 as
an English and Swedish teacher and head gymnastics coach. This 2025-2026 school
year marks her 50th year of teaching in Minnesota.

At this event, Linda will share about her experiences as a teacher and the impact that teachers and anyone can have on the people that they are surrounded by. She will dive into how to be equitable and understanding of everyone, and how we can all be Hope Harvesters! You DO NOT need to be an education major to attend this event! Everyone can be a hope harvester!

This is a Dignitas Lab, so if you are in need of another event, this is another excuse to go!

Join us in welcoming Linda to our school!
